DIFFUN. Quirino. April 2 –At least six Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) from this town were given livelihood trainings through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-Quirino) and the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR-Quirino).

Both agencies agreed to collaborate in establishing Science & Technology based livelihood projects for Agrarian communities and associations and increase income and provide sustainable livelihood among ARBs and ARCs.

Likewise, both departments vowed to strengthen their partnership and affirmation to increase S&T interventions in the production and processing aspects of business enterprise. Give employment opportunities and rural development to catapult national progress.

Municipal Agrarian Reform Officer Rogelio Dannug requested the DOST to conduct livelihood trainings particularly on Meat and Food Processing considering that it is one of DARs activities to ARBs in developing farming as an enterprise to add value to farmers products and increase their income.
